Saturdays With Cynthia — Do You Get Depressed When You Take Down Your Christmas Decorations?

Saturday, January 6, 2018

Hello my Lovlies — Happy Saturday!!!!

This Saturday With Cynthia is going to short & sweet since I'm running behind this afternoon.

Anyway, I woke up this morning and thought to myself — self it's the 6th of January and it is time your take down your Christmas decorations.

With that in mind, I started taking down the stockings and our little tree.  Then all of sudden I started to feel a little sad/depressed.   I suppose it was because the lights and decorations are so warm and festive.  They put me in a good mood while they're up.

However, more importantly they remind me that I/we are celebrating the birth of my/our Savior Jesus Christ.

I was just wondering if anyone else out there feels a little sad/depressed when they put away their Christmas holiday decorations.

Anyway, comment below and let us know.

Friday Favorites — Pantone's 2018 Color Of The Year Ultra Violet

Friday, January 5, 2018

Hello my Lovlies ~ Happy Friday!

For Cynthia's Friday Favorite my inspiration is Pantone's 2018 Color of the Year Ultra Violet 18-3838.

Here's a swatch of the beautiful color.  Which just so happens to be my favorite color.

To give you an idea of how much influence the color of year has on the consumer industry I am going to share a fashionable collection of blue-based purple products for you and your home.

Cosmetics are inspired/influenced by Pantone's Color of year.  This is evidenced by Butter London's new nail polish shade PURPLE REIGN.

The color of the year (ultra violet) even shows up in this Dream UP V2 Expresso Machine.

Pantone's color of year (ultra violet) shows up in fashion as we can see in this BCBG Max Azria mid-sleeve pleated dress.

Finally, Pantone's color of the year (ultra violet) even makes its way into the consumer electronics arena.  This is demonstrated by Case Logic's 13.3 inch laptop and Mac Book sleeve.

Okay my Lovlies, there you have it — my Friday Favorite - - Pantone's 2018 Color of year Ultra Violet.

Hope you enjoy it!!

What's Up Wednesday — What's Up With All the Confusing Weight Loss Information

Wednesday, January 3, 2018

Hello my Lovlies.  For Cynthia's What's Up Wednesday I am going to talk about all the confusing, misleading, and just plain crazy information I'm finding out about weight loss.

When I was younger I could skip lunch and practically lose 5 pounds.  Now that I am older it seems like the only way I've been able to take any significant amount of weight off (and keep it off for any amount of time) is with prescription Phentermine.

Phentermine is one of the best known diet pills ever to have been produced, with a history built up over several decades, it has been used to help millions of dieters lose weight all across the world.

Until recently Phentermine was the most commonly prescribed slimming pill and was available both from doctors and also to buy on online.

The USA and many other countries (all ones I've found) have now banned the drug from general sale, and it can ONLY be obtained through a doctors prescription and used under strict medical guidance.
I am told that "Any websites selling actual Phentermine online are illegal and she should be avoided"

I find this disturbingly strange.  I can't find a single doctor (including my own) that is willing to prescribe me Phentermine despite how well it works, and given the overall significantly low side effects.

Couple this with the fact that obesity in the United States is now the second leading cause of death, followed extremely close (soon to surpass) tobacco use.

So, when a strict diet and rigorous exercise just aren't cutting it what are you doing to take the weight off and keep it off?  I (and am sure many, many others) would like to know.

Comment below and let us know your secret.
