Surprise Saturday — My New iPad Pro 12.9-Inch Model

Saturday, September 24, 2016

Hello my Lovlies.  For Cynthia's Surprise Saturday my post is going to be about my new Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch tablet.  I am posting it on Surprise Saturday because my wonderful husband (Chuck) surprised me by ordering me one last night.

We ordered it online rather than walking in the Apple store (or elsewhere) and buying it because Staples had a heck of a deal on the 128GB version.  Unfortunately, it wasn't available for pickup in a store anywhere near where we live.
This my sad face since I won't be receiving my awesome new iPad until approximately October 3rd. That seems like an absolute lifetime from now — what with our American instant gratification way of life (lol).

These babies (the 12.9-inch model) come in silver, gold, and space grey.  I chose the gold because it's a little bit different (like me).

Anyway, where to start — hmmm here's what's in the box (see photo below).
This iPad is a beast and has way too many features to talk about in one blog post so I'll share just a of few of the reasons I (or should I say we) bought one; then I'll link a video below so you can check it out for yourself and let me know what you think.

Cynthia's reasons for buying an iPad Pro 12.9-inch 128GB tablet.

• I really like the size of the 12.9-inch retina display tablet verses some of the smaller sized ones.  I have long fingernails and it's a lot easier to maneuver around on.  The screen resolution is 2732x2048 yet it only weighs 1.57 pounds.

•  This tablet is supposed to have up to a 10 hour battery life.  Wow, that's truly amazing in this small lightweight tablet!

•  This tablet can record 1080p HD video.
    ◘ Slo-mo video support
    ◘ Time-lapse video with stabalization

•  This tablet has four (yes 4) built-in speakers for amazing sound.

•  I am super excited about the iPad Pro pencil accessory. This thing lets you make any number of effects, right down to a single pixel. Plus, if you're resting your hand on the screen the tablet can tell the difference in pressure between the pencil, your fingers and your palm. How cool is that?

As promised here is a video link to the 12.9-inch iPad Pro.

      Watch the film

Your Turn:  Watch the film and let me know what you think.
