Make My Monday Pretty — Pretty Summer Makeup Inspiration (From The Beauty Department)

Monday, June 6, 2016

Hello My Lovlies.  Even though summer is nearly 2 weeks away it clearly feels like summer now.  With that in mind, here is a pretty summer makeup look that I found on that you can do in no time. Take a look.

Summer is here but our tans may not be yet (or if you’re like me, you fake it all summer long while loading up the SPF). So here’s a perfect makeup look for summer… bronzed cheeks, gilded lids, a lined eye and a pink lip. Simple and gorgeous. Here’s how:
  1. First apply the tinted moisturizer all over your face and neck with the egg sponge.
  2. Next bronze the hollow of your cheeks, your temples and the two sides of your forehead with the cream bronzer using a blush brush, foundation brush or a sponge.
  3. Don’t forget to bronze your jawline and neck as well so it all matches.
  4. Smile and apply blush to the top portion of the apples of your cheeks with a blush brush.
  5. Blend everything together with the egg sponge.
  6. Apply the pink lipstick all over the lip area.
  7. Swipe your finger across the gold glitter shadow and press it all over the lid and crease.
  8. Load it up again and sweep it across the lower lashline.
  9. Line the upper lashline with the kohl pencil.
  10. Rim the inner waterline with the kohl pencil.
  11. Finish with a couple coats of mascara.
My Lovlies I hope you're inspired to try this pretty summer makeup look.

Satruday Surprise — How To Rock Foil Packs on the Grill

Saturday, June 4, 2016

Hello my Lovlies.  It's been near 100 degrees here in Oregon the last couple of days. With that in mind, the last thing I wanted to do is cook inside.

That being said I searched the
internet to find some grilling ideas and
I found these awesome foil pack recipes on the Pillsbury website.

Wow Guide June 2016
How to Rock Foil Packs

Fill. Fold. Grill. Our go-to summer dinner is delicious and involves zero clean-up.

Caprese Chicken Foil Pack

Step 1: Fill + Fold

Spray your foil first to avoid any sticky situations. Then load it up with your favorite filling! (We love this new recipe for Caprese Chicken Foil Packs. Now fold the top before sealing each end. Pro tip: Put the folded packs on a baking sheet to keep the kitchen-to-grill journey drip-free.

Step 2: Fire Up the Grill

Place your foil pack over medium heat and cover. Grill (or bake in your oven, if that’s your preference) according to recipe instructions. The cook time will vary depending on the fillings and temp of your grill.

Step 3: Dig In!

Use tongs to pull the packs off the grill and later to (gingerly) peel back the foil. Serve on a plate with sides and fixings, or just eat your meal straight off the foil. So simple, yet so delicious.

There are so many ways to rock a foil pack that we had a hard time narrowing it down for you. Check out our favorite recipes below to get all up in your grill this summer!
Okay my Lovlies — I hope I've inspired you to try one of these delicious looking foil packs today.
