Hello my Lovlies. Well it's Monday,it's Memorial Day, and everyone knows how much I lve tablescapes. So, guess what — you guessed it my Make My Monday Pretty post is going to be about pretty Memorial Day Tablescapes.

I think this lovely patriotic tablescape by stonegable.com is a beautiful way to commemorate Memorial Day.

Party Pinching brings you this great tablescape for Memorial Day. On their website (partypinching.com) they say that paper fans make an inexpensive and dramatic backdrop.

I found this awesome looking watermelon, feta and blueberry flag tablescape on Home Is Where The Boat Is (homeiswheretheboatis.com).

Red, White & Blue

This the season!  Kick off your summer patriotic celebrations with red, white, and blue as your main color scheme. Not only are the colors rich, bright and wonderful, you can reuse the tablewear for the 4th of July and Labor Day.

My Lovlies in the event you didn't know — Memorial Day was originally called Remembrance Day.  First established to honor and remember soldier's who had lost their lives in the Civil War.  Their graves were decorated with flags and flowers to remember them and their ultimate sacrifice.  Remembrance Day was later changed to Memorial Day and remains a day to honor American men and women who gave their lives so we can have a free nation.
